Here are our weekly updates for the Week of September 25, 2017: DEN MEETINGSDEN MEETINGS We get into our regular den meeting schedule this week, but please note that there are changes to the den meetings for the Wolf (2nd Grade) Den. Separate communications have been sent out to the Wolf parents around the schedule change. Our pack meetings will remain as scheduled for all dens on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00 (though we’ll try to get it all in within an hour).
POPCORN SALESThis week, during the den meetings, we’ll be handing out information for the scouts to sell popcorn in their neighborhoods or other friends, families, or organizations, beyond the Show and Sell events above. If you need any additional information or aren’t able to make the Den Meetings, please contact Kat Broadhead. Our weekly "Show and Sell" events continue to do very well at Altomonte’s! We are still in need of volunteers to help with the fundraiser on Saturdays. Thank you to everyone who has signed up and participated so fare. Please click this link to review the schedule and sign up for a slot! We will make sure that one of the leadership team is at Altomontes during set up and take down each week. We also have a couple of slots still available for the Show and Sell at Wawa in Pipersville (near Easton Road and Stump Road) on Sunday, October 8th from 9AM – 1PM. You can sign up for the 1 hour slots for this here. Don’t forget that you can use the Trail’s End Digital Take Order App while doing individual sales. This app will allow scouts to fill out the order forms digitally while selling, track which orders have been paid and delivered, and the pack is able to get an updated look at how sales are going without waiting for order forms to be submitted. For more information on how to set up this new app, please see the information here. NEW EVENT - SLEEPOVER AT THE FRANKLIN INSTITUTEThis is a recent addition to our calendar of fun activities, but please note that signups and payment are required to be completed by this coming Thursday, September 28, 2017.
CYBER CHIPI’m very glad to see how well this has been received, so far, the questions I’ve gotten around this. At this week’s Den Meetings, we’ll be handing out the Cyber Chip Card for the scouts to read and sign. Scouts that complete the requirements for the Cyber Chip will receive their Cyber Chip badge at the next Pack meeting after the requirements are complete. Please continue to work with your son(s) on completing the requirements for the Cyber Chip, before the first Pack Meeting (October 17), that would be awesome. As I’ve mentioned, we’re shooting for 100% completion across the entire Pack for this important safety initiative. The requirements and resources needed to complete this are available here. UNIFORM EXCHANGEAs we’ve mentioned in the past, we’ll be hosting our uniform exchange starting on Tuesday. However, since the older scouts meet later in the evening, we’ll have the uniform exchange available for the next few weeks during the Den Meetings. If you have any old uniform, please drop it off. If you need a uniform, please check out what we’ll have available. Our goal is to have everyone in uniform by the 2nd week of October, but want to see all the scouts in full uniform by the first Pack Meeting (on October 17, 2017). CONTACT US!We're looking forward to getting our Pack year officially underway and seeing everyone on Tuesday and Friday!
If you have any questions about these updates, events, or anything else related to Pack 52, please feel free to contact your Den Leader(s), our Cubmaster, Jim Kimmel or Kristen Druger.
